Guide to the Identification of Ownership of Internet Rights

* Internet distribution rights – alternately known as online rights, new media rights, streaming rights, IPTV rights and so on – have not been consistently defined from contract to contract. What we are seeking is anything which would seem to include the distribution of entire productions encoded as a digitised file and requested over an open digital network. If these are not covered by definitions in a contract that does not acquire ownership of “all rights,” then they should default to the producer. ** The major English-speaking territories are USA, Canada, UK, Australia & New Zealand.
